But Agra is not just the Taj Mahal. In this former capital of Mughal Empire, you can find a lot of other outstanding monuments including the Red Fort (UNESCO) and also the monumental tomb of Emperor Akbar (UNESCO). The city also has other gardens with tombs, the birthplace of the famous Indian Sufi poet Mirza Ghalib, but also the typical markets with local souvenirs, spices and marble products with stone inlay, thanks to which Agra has already been famous for centuries.

Day : 1 Delhi - Agra
6:00 – 6:30 AM Pick up at the hotel and departure from Delhi.
10:00 AM Arrival in Agra and visit to the Taj Mahal with its beautiful gardens, a museum and many more.
12:00 AM A visit to the Red Fort where you see how Muslim and Hindu architecture have mingled. A visit to the marble and precious-stone decorated apartments of the Emperors Akbar, Jahangir and Shah Jahan. From the walls, you will have a beautiful view of the Taj Mahal.
2:00 PM Lunch in a local restaurant.
3:00 PM Free time for walk in the old city, the birthplace of Mirza Ghalib, the local markets or a visit of Emperor Akbar’s tomb.
5:30 – 6:00 PM Departure from Agra.
9:30 PM Arrival in Delhi.
